And definitely the cycling community.

And this month’s Bicycling, the World’s Leading Bike Magazine, features us and our amazing, scenic hometown of Athens, Georgia. The editor of Bicycling chooses Jittery Joe’s as her everyday fuel at our New York location and says that our coffee “revolutionized my midday buzz.”

The article also highlights our friends at Five Star Day Cafe, and Ike & Jane’s (who both serve our coffee), and Terrapin Beer Company (with whom we’ve collaborated to do Wake & Bake and Depth Charge… ring a taste bud?)

The article mentions our two coffee blends that support the cycling community: Alternative Fuel, which benefits Bike Athens and Morning Ride, which benefits our Professional Cycling Team Mountain Khakis fueled by Jittery Joe’s.

Familiar with the comforting sights and sounds of cozy Athens? The article details the great rides in the Classic City. Love to ride? Try ‘em out. Wanna chill? Grab a cup of joe and enjoy the Athens atmosphere.

So, check us out on newsstands everywhere! It’s the Bicycling Spring Training Issue, March 2010.

Our little beans have come a long way. CNN interviewed us down at the roaster for a piece about Small Business Success. That’s right, Jittery Joe’s is on CNN. So check out our television debut, airing this week.

The segment will air on Headline News at some point during the following half hours.

Monday: 6am-6:30am
Thursday: 9am-9:30am

Or, you can watch the segment online at CNN.com

Don’t worry, we won’t get a big head, move to Hollywood, and star in the next big vampire movie, but we wanted to say how proud and excited we are to be acknowledged. To us, success means our ability to do what we love every day: bringing you the most delicious coffee possible and serving our community in the best ways we can.

Here at Jittery Joe’s, we have another exciting collaboration to speak of. This time with art-savvy, coffee-drinking SCAD.

We’ve paired with Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) for a unique blend: SCAD’s Slam-N-Study. Collaborating with SCAD, we enlisted the college’s communication arts students in developing the packaging concept. The final illustration was created by sequential art student Andy J Hirsch. You go, Andy!

We thought this project would be a great opportunity to include SCAD students in the creative process – to bring their work out of the classroom and into the real world. It was another chance for us to connect with the students, too. We’re proud to spread the joy of our delicious new organic Slam-N-Study blend and to take part in this collaboration with young artists. Read the official press on the SCAD website.

Everyone’s talking about the new Joe in town: even The New York Times. Their weekend edition heralded the opening of our Jittery Joe’s Coffee in New York City with a teaser of the shining new store. With our location adjoining LIM College, the article paints this southern import as a haven for tired students and locals alike. As always, this Jittery Joe’s Coffee location promises to brew up the energy for creative minds. Check out the scoop here, and if you’re in town, drop by and see us for a little bit of down-home goodness.

Last year, the Terrapin folks flew out to Longmont to create Terra-Rye’ZD, a black rye lager. This year, the Left Hand crew came east. Left Hand is known for its milk stout, brewed with lactose sugar for a creamy texture, and Terrapin has experience with coffee through its “Wake n Bake” Imperial Stout, so this is a natural meeting of the minds. As usual, the coffee was provided by local Athens roasters Jittery Joe’s.”
