René Shoemaker exhibited her one-of-a-kind textile paintings of Athens Above, a unique view of the skyline of Athens, Georgia at Ciné this month. One of her hand-painted silks exhibited is the view through our window at the roaster (looking up towards downtown). Rene’s art is a technique of hand-painted silks that she has been practicing for over 30 years in Athens. We are glad to be a part of such an amazing community of artists.
