UGA Class Visits the Jittery Joe’s Roaster
April 15th, 2009 General
The coffee technology class at the University of Georgia gets an inside look at the science of coffee from the coffee experts themselves. As a part of the regular curriculum, the class visits our roaster to see first hand the process of preparing the beans and crafting the coffee. They also meet with the owner to learn more about the beans themselves—their types, acidities, and how each is roasted and prepared.
Of course, you don’t need to be enrolled in this class to visit the Jittery Joe’s Coffee roaster—it’s open to the public from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
