Cold Brewed Coffee Joins the Joe’s Menu

May 15th, 2012 Featured, General

Craving something cold instead of your normal, hot cup of joe? Try Jittery Joe’s new cold brewed coffee (also known as a Toddy)! This method of brewing produces a rich, velvety texture and an extra caffeine boost while keeping the same gourmet flavor of our micro-roasted beans!

A little about cold brewed coffee: The process of brewing coffee directly onto ice locks in flavors and aromatics. Clean, fresh, sweet, and aromatic, iced coffee is made by cooling the coffee immediately, avoiding oxidized (or acidic) flavors that other brewing methods can produce.

So the next time you’re in need of a pick-me-up, come by Jittery Joe’s and grab an ice-cold Toddy. You’ll be asking the question, “Is it cold in here?”

Stop by any of our 5 Athens stores to get a taste!

The conference weekend included fun and exciting events including roasting seminars, varietal cuppings, coffee buying seminars, a roasting challenge and of course some social gatherings. We had a great time and would like to thank everyone that came to Athens to take part and to all those that helped make the event a success. See you next year.

Jittery Joe’s was recently hailed as one of the “best places for sipping” in Athens by Taste of the South Magazine.
